Love this place. Counterweight IPA the best I have had in a long while. Tacos high end and very good. Ceviche awesome. Fun place
Update - Have been back twice. Still great food but portions have been cut in like half!! Not a good idea. -

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the atmosphere. It's perfect. The music, the plates, the glasses, the decor...Super New. And right now with the outside and the gorgeous weather, spectacular. Also I LOVE tacos and I love tequila. That's why with much chagrin I click two stars.
Here's my skinny. There was a generous portion of meat on the carnitas. With some nice flavor. But come on! It's a street taco place. The plates were too expensive to get three tacos with one tortilla, no salsa and a single slice of lime. I was most put off by my grilled corn. One piece broken in two. Street corn is simple. Slather the delicious ingredients on. It's a sit down restaurant. I don't want to assemble my own meal. And if you're running out of cotija, take the corn off the menu. The cheese is what makes the dish. It should be thick and already applied. And the drinks were good. They SEEM smaller than your normal margarita, but it's just the short glass. -

Very nice environment, you can sit inside or outside (but they have different menus). The main reason I gave this place three stars is because of the drinks. The drinks were really good, but besides that I wouldn't come back.
Food: we got guacamole, empanadas, al pastor (pork)tacos , carnitas tacos (pork) and prawn or shrimp tacos. The guac has no flavor, at all ... Kind of ruined the whole point of having their "homemade" chips. Empanadas were OK, I ordered two chorizo and potato. They fucked up and gave me one potato and one chorizo. The potato one was ok and same for the chorizo. They try to make the plate look fancy and spread the sauce all over the plate. Such a waste of sauce, which would probably make the empanadas taste better. Also trying to make an empanada look fancy? Really? They weren't fully stuffed which doesn't surprise me.
Tacos were not good, in any way. The best taco they offered was the Al Pastor. Even that was nothing impressive. I would say it was the best because it had the most flavor, slightly. The shrimp taco was the most pathetic thing I've ever had. They basically put some baked shrimp in a taco, might not even be baked. Then they wrap it and sprinkle pico on top of the closed taco. Again, pretty stupid to me because they're trying to be fancy when the pico could be inside and probably add some flavor to the plain shrimp taco. They don't offer sauces with the tacos or at least none were served with mine.
Now that I think about it, I find it funny that they tried making their food look fancy. I don't ever judge a book by its cover. I always preach, try it before you knock it. For some strange reason, I could not bring myself to try the carnitas taco. It didn't look appealing AT ALL. My girlfriend ordered them and she did not like them. She said that they were dry and bland.
So in conclusion if you want a good drink - pick this place. If you want to eat, well I guess now you know how I feel. -

Great place for Mexican food in Danbury/Bethel! The menu is very diverse and includes some exceptional dishes such American Bison Tacos, which I can highly recommend! I only wished they would allow for mix & match with the tacos so that I could sample more in one order. The service was fast, friendly and the waiter recommended excellent wine. I also really liked the quite atmosphere on a weekday evening (without live music).

Really great spot renovated from the old German space. Beautiful outside area and tasteful food to match! I'm looking forward to trying more dishes, but the seafood was fresh and well prepared. It's not like your typical Mexican place bc it's meant to offer high quality cocktails and high quality food. Hence the no "free chips and salsa" go to Puerto Vallarta down the rd if you want that. Love the fire pit outside. Cocktails were unique and tasty. And most of all the octopus was prepared with perfection. I'm looking forward to my next stop here!
